Dubai International Airport is located 10 km away from central Dubai.

Getting to the airport

Bus stations are located opposite Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Buses numbered 4, 11, 15, 33 and 44 connect with Terminal 1;  Bus number 2 connects with Terminal 2. These buses serve all parts of the Dubai area, and depart every 10 minutes between 6am and 10pm. A taxi stand outside the arrivals hall is open 24 hours a day, and limousine service is available as well. The Airport Road (D89) leads directly into Dubai’s city centre, a 10-minute drive.

Dubai International is served by the Dubai Metro, which will operate two stations through the airport. The Red Line (Dubai Metro) has a station at Terminal 3. Current rules allow commuters to carry up to two pieces of luggage (with one being hand luggage).

Inter-terminal shuttle

Dubai International offers 24-hour inter-terminal shuttle bus service for passengers transferring between Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
