We offer Air Canada cheap flights. Hand baggage

Carry-on baggage allowance:
1 standard article and 1 personal article

(If you are travelling with an infant on your lap, you may carry on 1 additional Standard article for their belongings.)

• Carry-on bag, roller bag, backpack, briefcase,
• Laptop computer,
• Cat or small dog in its carrier
• Airport shopping and duty-free purchases, and more.

The following items are allowed at all times, in addition to your carry-on allowance:

• Mobility aid (e.g. braces, cane, crutches, walker, communication device*) or other special need item,
• Container carrying life sustaining items,
• Medication in its original, labelled container,
• Battery-powered medical equipment (such as CPAP and sleep apnea devices) and Personal Oxygen Concentrators,
• Cremated remains**,
• Syringe or needle for personal medical use (e.g. Epipen). See Exception in ‘Prohibited Items' section below.

Prohibited items

Below is a partial list* of items that are prohibited from carry-on baggage. Always store them in your checked baggage:

• Sharp, piercing or cutting objects such as:
  • Straight razors and razor blades
  • Sharp-tipped scissors with blades measuring more than 6 cm (2.4 in)
  • Box cutters
  • Hatchets
  • Knives of any length, including hunting knives, jackknives (Swiss army knives), and chef's knives (e.g. meat cleavers)
  • Saws, drills, as well as any tool with a head and shaft measuring more than 6 cm (2.4 in)
  • Game darts measuring more than 6 cm (2.4 in), as well as tackle boxes, fishing hooks/lures crossbows and arrows.

   

Exception: Syringes or hypodermic needles for personal medical use are allowed onboard providing the needle guards are intact, and that they are accompanied by the prescription medication with a printed label identifying the medication name and the issuing medical office or pharmacy.

• Electronic devices that can interfere with navigational and/or communication equipment. The use of the following devices is prohibited at all times onboard aircraft:
  • Wireless mouse
  • Bluetooth headsets
  • Radio transmitters
  • Radio controlled equipment or toys
  • Printers and computer peripheral devices

Economy class

1^st  item of baggage for free, 2^nd item of baggage costs $100 CAD/USD per direction, $70 CAD/USD per direction (tickets issued before June 1, 2012)

Check-in for Air Canada flights

Passengers can check-in, using web check-in, mobile check-in, kiosk check-in or desk check-in in the airport.

Web mobile check-in

You can check-in within the 24-hour period prior to departure of all your flights; and

• at least 30 minutes prior to departure for flights within Canada
• at least 60 minutes prior to departure for flights between Canada and other countries (including the USA)

Kiosk check-in

You may check in at a Self-Service Kiosk within the 12 hour period prior to departure, and:

• at least 30 minutes before departure for flights within Canada;
• at least 60 minutes before departure for flights between Canada and other countries (including the U.S.A.)
