Carry-On Baggage Allowance

Passengers could bring the following carry-on baggage onto the airplane:

• One carry-on bag, with total dimensions not exceeding 56 сm x 35 сm x 23 сm.
• One personal item, such as purse, small bag, laptop bag or a similar item, with total dimensions not exceeding  91cm

The weight for carry-on baggage, including personal items is unlimited.

Checked Baggage Allowance

For flights from Europe to North America

Economy

• One bag free of charge – max. weight -  23 kg
• Second bag for $60 payment – max. weight -  23kg

For flights from Europe to Carribean and Latin America; U.S. to Caribbean and Latin America

• One bag free of charge – max. weight 23kg
• Second bag for $40 payment – max. weight -  23kg -  travelling to Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America
• Second bag for $60 payment – max. weight  23kg - travelling to South America

For U.S. Domestic Flights

Economy

• One bag for a fee of $25 each way – max. weight 23kg
• Second bag for a fee of $35 each way – max. weight 23kg

For AAdvantage Executive Platinum, Platinum and Gold Members is allowed two checked bags free of charge with maximum weight of 23kg each.

The total dimensions of each checked bag for all passengers and for all flights should not exceed 157cm each (length + width + height).

Infants occupying one seat in plane are allowed to take same checked and carry-on baggage as an adult. As additional items passengers with infants could take one nappy bag as carry-on, checked fully collapsible child stroller / pushchair or child carrier.

Overweight and oversize baggage fees

• Between 23kg and 32kg passenger is charged $60 per bag
• Bags over 32kg can’t be checked-in.

• Between 63 - 320cm (length + width + height) passenger is  charged $150 per bag
• Bags over 320cm (length + width + height) cannot be checked-in

Check-in for American Airlines flights

Passangers could check-in:

• Online
• At the Ticket Counter Check-In 
• Using Self-Service Check-In at the Airport.

For international flights, On-line check in is available between 2 to 24 hours in prior. Registration at the check-in ticket counter or check-in self-service is closed 60 minutes before flight departure. Passengers with infants or animals are able to check-in only at the airport check-in desks.
