Hand baggage

First Class and Business Class

First Class and Business Class passengers are permitted 2 pieces of carry-on baggage: 1 briefcase plus 1 handbag or  1 garment bag, all subject to the following size and weight limitations: briefcase: 45 x 35 x 20cm, handbag: 55 x 38 x 20cm, garment bag: 20cm. Weight should not exceed 12 kg.

Economy Class

Economy Class passengers are permitted 1 piece of carry-on baggage, subject to the following size and weight limitations: handbag: 55 x 38 x 20cm (22 x 15 x 8 inches) Weight should not exceed 7 kg.

Checked-in baggage

Checked baggage allowances:

• 30 kg in Economy Class (23 kg for North or South American destinations)
• 40 kg in Business Class (2 bags up to 32 kg for North or South American destinations)
• 50 kg in First Class (2 bags up to 32 kg for North or South American destinations)

For Skywards Gold or Silver member, passengers may also be entitled to additional allowances.

Check-in for Emirates Airlines flights

Online check-in is open 24 hours in advance before the flight. Passengers should arrive to the airport at the Emirates check-in counters no later than 90 minutes before departure time. Emirates' check-in counters open no less than three hours prior to departure.
