The Monarch Group (the 'Group') was founded in its current form in 1967 and today this has grown to over 3,000 highly-trained personnel in the hubs situated all over the UK. Monarch serves leisure and business travellers destinations to France, Spain, Gibraltar, Germany, Portugal, the Balearics, the Canaries, Cyprus, Italy, Croatia and Egypt with hi-tech fleet.

Hand baggage

Passengers are allowed to have 1 piece of hand baggage per person weighing no more than 10kg. Hand luggage dimensions must not exceed 56cm x 45cm x 25cm.

Checked baggage

There is no free baggage allowance on the Monarch flights. Passengers could buy checked baggage pieces. Every passenger has a maximum of 20kg of checked-in baggage. Ordering On-line from £11.99 / €14,99 to £18.99 / €23,99 per bag, per one way flight; ordering at the call centre - £25.00 / €31,00 per bag, ordering at the airport -  £25.00 / €31,00 per bag Prices vary according to route.

Passengers could also pre-book an excess baggage. Online the first 3kg £10.00 / €12.00, via call center or at the airport - £10.00 / €12,00. Extra kilos are charged at £7.50 / €9.00 per kg. The maximum weight of each baggage piece  must not exceed 32kg.

Check-in for Monarch flights

Check-in opens at the airport 2 hours before departure and 3 hours before departure for long haul flights. Check-in closes 40 minutes before departure and 60 minutes before departure for long haul flights.Online check-in is available from 18 days prior to departure and closes at 4.5 hours prior to departure. On-line check-in is available for scheduled flights only. On-line check-in is available free of charge only for passengers, who chose the seat in the airplane (for £4,99 or £11,99).
