Economy:
1 piece of luggage weighing up to 8 kg.

Business Class and Economy Extra:
2 pieces of luggage on flights to / from Asia and the U.S., including connecting flights (except for flights in / from the UK, where the maximum allowance is  one piece of hand luggage);

1 piece of luggage on all other routes.

Checked Baggage

There are two systems of baggage allowance: weight concept and piece concept.

Weight concept:
Adults and children older than 2 years:
30 kg - business class and economy-extra class on transatlantic flights and 32 kg on flights to the U.S.
23 kg, one piece of baggage, the sum of the three dimensions not exceeding 158 cm - Economy Class and Economy-extra class on flights to Europe.
Children up to 2 years without a seat: 10 kg.

Piece concept for SAS transatlantic flights to the U.S. and Canada:
Adults and children older than 2 years:
2 pieces, 32 kg - business class, Economy-extra class;
2 pieces, 23 kg - economic class;
sum of three dimensions of one piece of baggage must not exceed 158 cm
Children up to 2 years without a seat: 1 place, 23 kg;
Sum of three dimensions must not exceed 115 cm

Check-in for SAS flights

Passengers of SAS Scandinavian Airlines can check-in not only at the airport but also online on the company's website. Online check-in begins 22 hours in prior and closes 60 minutes before departure. SAS passengers also can check-in in kiosks (self-registration) at the airport.
