Economy: 1 bag

The size should not exceed 55x40x23 cm and weight up to 8kg per each bag.

Travelling with an infant the following items are allowed on board: 1 baby basket or 1 collapsible pram (in the baggage compartment) or 1 car seat

Checked baggage

Number of free baggage items per person:

SWISS Economy: 1 bag, max. 23 kg

SWISS Business: 2 bags, max. 32 kg per each bag

SWISS First: 3 bags max. 32 kg per each bag

Small children under 2 years are allowed to transport 1 piece max. 23kg plus a folding buggy.

Check-in for SWISS flights

Passengers could make check in, using following opportunities:

• Automated check-in. Automatic check-in message should be received 20 hours in prior before the flight departure.

• Web check-in. Passengers can check in online between 23 and 1 hour before departure.
• Mobile check-in. Passengers can check in between 23 and 1 hour before departure.
• Check-in desk at the airport. Desks are opened from 2-3 hours and closed 90-25 minutes prior to departure. Some airports provide registration from 24 hours before the flight.
