Thai Airways is the national carrier of the Kingdom of Thailand. This airline serves domestic, regional and intercontinental flights from its home base in Bangkok to different destinations around the world and within Thailand.
Hand baggage
Hand baggage should weight not more then 7 kg. Total sum of three dimensions should not exceed 115 cm.
Checked baggage
Baggage allowance for travel outside Canada and the U.S.A, 1 piece of checked baggage:
- Royal First Class : 40 kg, Royal Silk Class : 30 kg., Premium Economy and Economy Class passengers : 20 kg.
- Royal Orchid Plus Gold Card Members could check an additional 20 kg
- Royal Orchid Plus Silver Card Members can check an additional 10 kg
- Child (2-12 years) occupying a seat could have the same free baggage as an adult
- Infant (not occupying seat) are allowed to take 10 kg excluding a fully-collapsible child stroller, pushchair, or infant carrying basket.
Baggage allowance for travel to/ from Canada and the U.S.A. 2 pieces of checked baggage:
- The maximum weight is 32 kg per piece for Royal First and Royal Silk Class; 23 kg per piece for Premium Economy and Economy Class
- The sum of the three dimensions for each piece must not exceed 158 cm
- Child (2-12 years) occupying a seat could take the same free baggage as an adult passengers
- Infant (not occupying seat) - 1 piece of checked baggage, the sum of three dimensions should not exceed 115 cm. at maximum weight of 23 kg plus one fully-collapsible child stroller or pushchair or infant-carrying basket
- Frequent Flyer Gold Members are permitted to 1 extra piece in any class of services
Check-in for Thai Airways flights
On-line check-in is open from 24 hours to 2 hours before flight departure. Check-in at the airport closes from 45-60 minutes before flight departure.
