Airline Uzbekistan Airways was founded in January 28, 1992 in Uzbekistan. The main working field of the airline – provision of qualified services for domestic and international flights, implementation and research of new scientific developments and technologies in the field of air transport. Uzbekistan Airways provide flights to more than 40 cities in Europe, Asia, America and Japan; this airline has representatives in 25 countries. The airline has about 14 thousand employees.

Weight of hand baggage must not exceed 5 kg. The maximum dimensions - 115 cm.

Checked-in baggage

Passengers has an opportunity of free baggage transportation according to two concepts  - Weight concept and Piece concept.

Baggage allowance by weight (Weight Concept)
Passenger is allowed to carry following baggage free of charge:
First Class - 40 kg
Business class - 30 kg
Economy class - 20 kg
Maximum weight of one baggage piece - 32 kg. Maximum dimensions - 160 cm in the sum of three dimensions.
  
Free baggage allowance for infants under 2 years and children under 12, who paid for the ticket at least 50% of the tariff is the same as for adults. For a child under 2 years not occupying a separate seat on the plane is allowed to carry 10 kg of checked baggage. In addition it is allowed to take collapsible stroller or baby car seat.

First / Business Class - 2 pieces, each should not exceed 158 cm
Economy Class - 2 pieces, should not exceed 158 cm, total sum of both pieces should not exceed 273 cm

Baggage allowance for infants under 2 years of age and children under 12, who paid for the ticket at least 50% of the tariff is the same as for adults. For children, who does not occupy a seat on the plane, the free baggage allowance is 1 piece no more than 115 cm, and a collapsible stroller or one folding chair on wheels. The maximum weight of each piece must not exceed 32 kg.

Check-in for Uzbekistan Airways flights

Check-in time for international flights and CIS Aircraft A310, A320, Boeing 767, Boeing 757 - 3 hours prior to departure, for the Il-114, RJ-85, AN-24 - 2 hours before the scheduled departure. Check-in ends - 40 minutes before departure time.

Check-in time for domestic flights for the Boeing 767, Boeing 757, A310, A320 -  3 hours in prior to departure, for the Il-114, RJ-85 - 2 hours prior to flight departure. Check-in at the Tashkent airport ends 30 minutes before the departure time, in other airports in Uzbekistan - 20 minutes before departure time.
