Riga International Airport

The owner of RIGA International Airport is the Republic of Latvia. It is the largest international aviation company in the Baltic’s and the main air traffic centre in this region offering regular passenger, cargo and postal delivery. This airport attends both national and international airlines becoming one of the few European airports that attends both full service and low costs airlines.

The airport is locate 10 km away from the centre of Riga.

Getting to the airport

Bus 22, leaves from Abrenes Street.  You will get out straight at the terminal on the 2nd level. To get on the bus at the airport look for bus stop located opposite the terminal behind the car park P1.Frequency 10 - 30 minutes, journey time to city centre about 30 minutes.You can also travel from the airport to the city centre “Airport Express” minibuses or taxi services. Journey time to the centre of Riga city by taxi is approximately 15 minutes. Average cost per trip by taxi to Riga city centre: LVL 8 - LVL 10.

International Transfers

Company “GoBaltics” offers routes to Vilnius, Tallinn, Minsk and Warsaw. "Lux Express" and "Simple Express" offers the most frequent international connections between Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw, Berlin, St.Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Minsk. Company “Ollex” offers Klaipeda-Riga Express.
